I just wanted to say that Sync 3 is way better than Sync 2 (MyFord Touch). But there are some things that I really wish they would add.
For one I love Apple CarPlay because I can use it with maps as I don't have Navigation in my Expedition. But one thing that stinks in the Expedition when using CarPlay is you can't see the temperature settings for your climate control. So if you are listening to music on Spotify or have Maps open on CarPlay and you turn the dial on the climate control to adjust the temperature you don't know what you're setting it to. I've noticed that when you're in certain menus and you are using the Radio and you change the channel from the steering wheel or the numbered presets a little notification bar scrolls down from the top to tell you what station you're on. But not when inside CarPlay. So what I feel Ford should do is whenever CarPlay is being used (which is a secondary screen from your iPhone essentially - have you ever taken a screenshot on your iphone when CarPlay is used? You get 2 images in your Camera Roll, one of your iPhone screen and one of your CarPlay screen) and you change the temperature a notification bar should scroll down from the top while you're dialing in the temp to show you what it is. Otherwise you have to hit the home button, then find the Ford button and go back to the Sync 3 climate screen to see the temp. Really annoying. My friend has a 2017 C-Max and that car (like my 2015 C-Max) has the temp on an LED screen within the Climate control buttons area as well as on screen so that way you can see it all times. Expedition's don't have that extra LED screen so an update should happen. Is there anyone on here from Ford that can put in a request to the developers to get this added on the next update?
