Upgraded my Running board lights

took a while, but i finally figured out how to access the running board bulbs

here are the my new green LED lights, as you can see, they are nice & bright.

nice lights! bet you kicked yourself in the butt when you realized you didnt have to remove the lamps themselves and its a 5 minute job!!! only one way to learn though :)

Those light fixtures aren't completely waterproof. Some silicone grease will keep the led base wires from rusting.

yeah i was trying to access the lights from underneath the running board, well after about 20 minutes & no luck :facepalm: i decided to try from the top...BAM, pay dirt! :head3:

Hey nice job with the lights. What is the bulb spec? I want mine in blue. Where did you get those?

nice, I am thinking about doing something similar with my expy but I want to get a led strip that can adhere to the body above the running boards.
