What is the substitute for Mecron V transmission fluid?

Hi,

Mecron V is very expensive where I am. Is there a substitute ATF that can be safely used for the expedition in place of Mecron V?

I would not recommend you do that. Buy the OEM fluid and avoid problems, in the long run there is nothing cheaper.

He's right, the recommended fluid is best for your vehicle, and other fluids are likely to cause problems.
