Ok found out today i need new tires. So i guess its time to do the 3/2. So question is what size should i go with? Im looking at either a 285/70/17 A/T or a 315/70/17 M/T. Questions i have with the spacers will i have trimming to do? Sorta of leaning towards the 285. Please help and posts why i should get either size. Buying tires in a couple weeks. TIA

My personal feeling and from my research, the 315 are a stretch. If you don't mind some trimming, then I guess they'd fit. My plan is a 295/305 70 17 on a new 17x9. My biggest worry about my decision is the factory running boards. I need to keep em for the kiddos and I don't think the Mrs will take too kindly to me trimming them a bit. Prolly gonna end up with the 295's and thus no further modification.

I have 325's on mine and I did have to trim a little bit of the bumper not enough were it is obvious though but like DIB said the running board present a little bit of a problem. I took mine off and the look is a lot cleaner but the wife hates it because she has to jump.
