I currently have a 2011 XLT Premium EL White Platinum Tri Coat Metallic (neat paint!) with HD towing, rear headrest DVD systems, NAV. Bought it March '13 with only 15K miles at an awesome price! It was originally delivered in October of '11 which probably explains the low milage.

I had a 1999 EB purchased with 65K miles and sold with about 170K when I bought the 2011.

What do I like about the EL over the 1st gen? The ride for one. MAJOR difference there. Now that I'm older I like a smoother ride on the street. The room for another. With two kids and a wife that loves projects, it can handle just about anything we throw at it. Towing capabilities third as I have a 24' travel trailer. I think it's getting better gas milage too. Almost forgot - it's really quiet. I read where they thickened the glass to help with noise among other things.

2000 EB 4x4. Love this truck, bought it with 147k, paid $3800. Was well mantained and looks brans new underneath.

This is my first Expy and I'm already looking at new ones haha!

2008 XLT HD tow 4x4 premium sound minus sub.

Perfect expedition, although I wish it had the sub and 3.73 gears Im more then happy with it in every aspect. Originally wanted a sunroof but glad it didnt have one.
