Interesting...did not know this either.

I always put mine above my rear view mirrror towards the right not to obstruct visability. Think I will continue to do unless they start ticketing me.. :)

As a LEO, I wouldn't stop anyone for having a GPS on thier windhield unless it's right in front of the driver. As other's have already posted, if it's off to the side, you probably won't be stopped.

If you mount it on a dash mat, you'll never have an issue, plus you won't have those annoying rings left on the windshiled when you hide it while "at the mall".

I always used a rearview mirror mount and invisicord (powers off the mirror) - very incognito this way

mines in the middle at the bottom, i leave it up 24/7 365. allowed here.

funny thing is my uncle in WA has one on the windshield of all his cars and had never had an issue but its its supposed to be illegal there?
