TL/DR: 2019 Expy FX4, RL 3/2, 34.6" tires rub in the rear. Help!
STORY: I just got the ReadyLift 3/2 kit installed and had it realigned to the custom specs laid out in the RL instruction manual. I did as much research on this site as I could about what tire size would fit, and used Readylift's own guidance claiming 35"s would fit as the final say. I bought 285/65/20 Toyo Open Country H/Ts and had them put on, which should be 34.6" x 11.2". The fronts are fine (just minor rubbing at full tilt) but the rears rub like crazy. (They rub the running board side of the wheel well, nowhere near the liftgate side) Remember when you were little and you put a coke can on the rear tire of your bicycle to make it sound like a dirt bike? That's what I sounded like coming back from the tire center last night. Luckily it was only a few miles away. Nonetheless, I am going to have to do some trimming or something before I go anywhere else considering I am legit worried about putting it in reverse and letting the tires run up and away from the wheel well. The tires don't just touch over bumps... they are pressed against the wheel well liners unloaded at rest.
It's crazy how everybody can have different experiences with fitment. A buddy of mine has a 2018 and he fit 35x12.5's under his on stock wheels. I've also seen people on here have rubbing up front with 33.5"s, which I don't have even an inch taller. I don't think it's my wheels causing it, they should have the same offset (I pulled them from a 2018 F150 Lariat). I'm lost!
Any ideas on what I can do to mediate my issue are welcomed. I have a set of 1.5" Rough Country wheel spacers that I had talked myself out of using, but I might have to try them now. All advice is appreciated, but if anything - here's some more data/real world experience for the site to further confuse us all! Hope everybody has a good holiday.
