Strange but the "birthdate" of my 2004 Expedition XLT is August 20, 2004. I thought it was pretty late in the year to have an August build date for the same year model, but the dealer I purchased it from verified the build date a second time!

Yep, the 10th digit is definitely a 4 (the 9th digit is a 7, if that means anything?)
