Yes but again it's the smaller of the two blowers. Personally my blower of choice is whipple.
Not sure which blower the saleen uses but a whipple 2.3 is plenty big enough for moderate power levels. It can easily exceed 600 rwhp with a properly built 5.4. Quite a few lightnings running 10's with whipple 2.3 on boost only.
You could always go for a whipple 3.4 or even 4.0 but they are overkill unless your building an all out race vehicle. All depends on your goals. What I am trying to say is larger is not necessarily better.
Larger blowers can actually produce more heat when not into boost (majority of the time) as they must recirculate more air. Seen whipple 3.4 owners complain of higher IAT temps due to this.
Of course when your into boost beyond the smaller blower's efficiency range the larger blower will have lower IAT's.
I am still stuck with my lil 1.8 eaton.
My goal is to install a 2.3 whipple.
