Yes but again it's the smaller of the two blowers. Personally my blower of choice is whipple.

Not sure which blower the saleen uses but a whipple 2.3 is plenty big enough for moderate power levels. It can easily exceed 600 rwhp with a properly built 5.4. Quite a few lightnings running 10's with whipple 2.3 on boost only.

You could always go for a whipple 3.4 or even 4.0 but they are overkill unless your building an all out race vehicle. All depends on your goals. What I am trying to say is larger is not necessarily better.

Larger blowers can actually produce more heat when not into boost (majority of the time) as they must recirculate more air. Seen whipple 3.4 owners complain of higher IAT temps due to this.

Of course when your into boost beyond the smaller blower's efficiency range the larger blower will have lower IAT's.

I am still stuck with my lil 1.8 eaton.

My goal is to install a 2.3 whipple.

i say go black, the match the rest, its what im going to do with mine, anything which is chrome is going black to get a more uniform look, i think the black handles would look good as it would break up all the wide on the side, but just enough to make it eye catching .

other than that all i would say to do it paint the break calipers red or fit some brembos or brembo covers

Yeah next time they have the wheels off at the dealer Ill have them spray it red. Not a fan of those cheap covers.

Looking great. Was hoping to see some progress on this.

Leave the door handles chrome or paint to match. Black handles will be like black dots on a giant sheet of white. I don't think it'll look right.

I've had to install those cheapass caliper covers on a couple Corvettes and Camaros. Bleh. Garbage.

Thanks guys! My issue right now is seeing what headers fit on the truck. Im being told that the Kooks from 09-10 5.4 raptor will fit. There is a company called Autowerks in IL that did a supercharged EL and used the Kooks. We'll see

I think it'd look good with the decals & emblems and I'd ptm the door handles, the chrome doesn't look right and the black would be out of place with all that white.

I like the idea but I wouldn't do it unless you get the Saleen SC. Gotta pull it all in. It will definitely make people do a double take.

That doesnt make a difference. They made the S331 and the S331 supercharged. They were all badged the same. The supercharged one said "supercharged" under the S331 fendor emblems.

I just found that out too. Also there appears to be two different exhaust systems. One made by magnaflow and one by edelbrock. Need to find out which one was on which lol

WHat grill is that? Standard non painted? Im thinking of junkyard diving for one and either bedlining like I did on my jeeps or getting a non painted and just slapping it on and eventually getting limited headlights. Love the look!

It's a limited grille. It came chrome. Had it painted but it chips. Going to have it hydro dipped.

Yeah I have always had issues painting fake chrome. Nothing but problems with my jeeps similar chrome and bedlining. I cannot stand the chrome grill on there now.
