I'm just curious as to what's the norm that these idle at. Mine is around 500 to 600 rpms.

Is mine too low? Should I increase it? If so how would I go about doing that?

Try taking out the AIC and clean it. mind you I'd test it as it may not be working properly depending on how it feels.
If its idling and doesn't rumble or bog then leave it. If it idles lower you'll burn less idling.
