I am new to posting here and I am sure there are lots of posts about this but I couldn't find a good answer. I have a stock 03 2wd expedition eddie bauer with 4.6
Can I fit 285 70 17 tires on stok height or not? If not how hard is it to add the front level kit or do I need the 3 front 2 rear and hiw difficult is this to install. I am mechanically inclined but I am a boat tech not a vehicle mechanic. Never messed with suspensions.

I found a company in fort walton beach that will install the 2.5" in the front and allignment for 325 plus tax. And gor the 285 70 17 terra grappler g2s for 168 a piece. Hopefully it will look good. Thanks for your help. Do you know if I will need to trim the front bumper any?

Expedition Raptor Wheels.jpg You will not need to trim anything. I have 315/70/17 BFG's with just a 2/2 and no rub. Prior to that I had 285/70/17 BFG's with no lift and no rub. I like to fill my wheel well with tire so doing the 2.5" up front with a tire not quite 33" doesn't fancy my liking.

Ok cool I know the 4x4 sits a little higher. I might not do a lift at all then and just go with tires only.

Decided to do the level kit, I just don't like the rake on this vehicle. Ordered tires and level kit. Set up to have all done next friday. I will post pics after

That is a sick rig. Everything about this is clean and beautiful.

Has the MPG noticeably dropped or not really?

Nice. What lift or level do you have. They told me the biggest I could go with the stock rims was 285 70. I want 35's just couldn't afford all of it at once.

Never mind... read your other post where you stated you've got -12 offset. Looks sweet! I'm looking at new wheels/tires too and trying to decide on the offset. Thanks for posting the pics!

Thanks man! next is a 3" body lift and custom front and rear tire carrier bumpers, then winch, and maybe an rtt after that?
