My brother came and took my expedition today, he's gotta bring all his stuff from his dorm room 5 hours away and needs all the room the expy has to offer.

Finished the add-on blinkers on the outside of the mirrors project. Maybe now people will see my turn signals and it will reduce them cutting me off.

Bro, I got a ticket on base for my blinkers being to dim, I upgraded to some after market led lights with the 50watt resistor and it's stupid bright now

There is nothing wrong with factory blinkers, the old "i couldn't see your blinker past your headlight" excuse is 100% continuous around here. I added simple smoked LED lights (upgraded dually fender lights from Silverado) to the outside edge of the mirror and wired them into the rearward facing factory led blinkers in the mirror assembly.

Some people just don't have the sense of common courtesy impeded in their brains like others do, I gave my little brother a truck full of gas that was washed inside and out, he leaves me his car without a drop of gas in it as a replacement till he finishes his use with mine, anywaus he Brings the expedition back 2 days later, not a drop of gas in it and so dirty of what seems like he hauled wood chips and mulch inside it.

Surprising we came from the same household, cause I'd bring back a car cleaner, fuller and with a hidden envelope somewhere in it as a token of appreciation $$$ that i would tell the owner about after i have left. Sad to know we share the same last name.

I saw an opportunity, and I jumped on it. Always wanted to do a size comparison of the same era fords.

Nice photo! I moved up from an 3rd gen explorer. They must have made them bigger now because I was next to an 16' and it was about the size of my expy (the expy barely looked bigger). In fact I think the wheelbase on the explorer may have been slightly longer than my Expedition but didn't look at it too close.

Changed oil with motorcraft 5w-20 synthetic blend and a new Motorcraft filter this week (I always use motorcraft stuff). Man it uses just barely under all 7 quarts I always have a little to spare in the seventh quart. I like to keep it right 50/50 between the holes on the dipstick since these engines need that oil on top of the engine quick at startup. FYI never use a Fram filter on a Ford modular V8 engine for this reason, the anti drain back tends to leak on those filters and lets your oil back down into the pan and your motor could start dry. Cleaned interior and organized it all up (behind my third row is tools piled right up to the window).

I cut out the factory muffler and welded in a Thrush Welded muffler on my '09. The factory pipe was already 2 1/2", so with an otherwise factory motor, I didn't feel like wasting $$$ on a 3" system. Welded on a Go Rhino 4" tip as well. This is the best sounding gasser I've had to date, and it only cost me about $80 in parts and an hour of my day. It has just the right amount of rumble at start-up and idle, and the tone smooths out as RPMs increase. It's enough to let people know you're there, without being obnoxious. No drone in the cab, and you have to turn the radio down to even hear it. Perfect.

Well rear ended a dude that was n front of me and decided to get n left turning Lane and rapidly try to jump back n front of me bc he realized that that wasn't where he wanted to turn.
Luckily the Officer said it was his fault so...

Curious to see what this is going to cost

Hopefully enough to cover that $700 WAM Steel bumper that I want.
