Yes, we got the Reserve with everything except the rear seat entertainment.

Do you mind sharing factory invoice in this?

My dealer just told me factory invoice for reserve with tech and revel ultima upgrades is 84,500...that's only like 3k under MSRP...that can't be right, can it???

edmunds shows very little difference between msrp and invoice for the expeditions and the navigators. thats why i am questioning whoever posted they were selling fully loaded Platinum 4x4 with buckets and entertainment for $75k. that is $3,500+ below invoice. just doesnt sound right. my dealer said there was no way we were getting to $75k

That was me :).

I can buy a fully loaded Platinum for 74,500 right now at one of my dealers. He is actually trying to sell me a black one, MSRP is just over 79k.

well, thats not quite fully loaded. fully loaded is $81,980. but regardless, that seems like a good price. Im just not sure what to attribute it to. i have contacted numerous dealers around here and none are wanting to discount much if any at all.

Hmm I wonder what is missing? They claim it has every upgraded option.

Regardless, this dealer markets $50 over invoice on every new ride. Even these new ones.

Not sure what you guys are referring to as invoice. For our company trucks we pay “invoice” but we generally get $7-10,000 off sticker using this method. Also called “at cost pricing”. Where they supposedly are only making interest and no profit on the sale besides that. That’s what I’ve always called invoice, but I guess I’m referring to it wrong. If they only offered us $3-4000 off sticker we generally would laugh and walk out the door.

Well, it's good to know single CD player prices haven't changed much since I bought my old Jeep 17 years ago...
Ugh having to buy the CD player just to get the speakers makes no sense. I haven’t owned a cd in years and it takes up space in the center console, on the other hand the Revel sounds so dang good I forget about the CD player altogether.

You should get a few CDs to enjoy it!! You should immediately notice the difference between cd and mp3 songs. iTunes and the like are great for convenience but average for sound quality!!

Can you post the window sticker for one they are quoting $74500?
That's the only way to know how the pricing breaks down.

Dealer hold back is 3% of msrp before destination fees. You can get below invoice but you are then cutting in to that 3% and it's just a matter of how much a dealer is willing to give up.

Unless your digital files are lossless the music is even more compressed than a CD. I could see Revel demanding a CD quality input as a minimum for their name due to GIGO.

What is strange is I've got a 40GB hard drive in our Honda minivan that I've loaded most of our CDs too.

you can do the same in the ford. you can rip lossless CDs onto a thumb drive and access them through the touchscreen. USB shows up as an input. The neat thing about that is that you can get 256GB drives for next to nothing now.

I'll try to get it for you. However he did just tell me it's $50 over invoice PLUS 2k incentive...

I guess it’s been a while since I’ve heard a cd that I just forgot. I have my iTunes set to the highest quality settings so i’ll do a comparison. Too bad Lincoln didn’t offer a turntable instead

This is very good to know, thanks for mentioning this! How do you navigate through the drive? Can you use the voice commands to play particular songs? I’m still figuring out what all sync will do in regards to working with my phone. I have played a little with car play but not a fan.

Curiosity kicked in so I built it out.
2018 Expedition 4x4 with rear buckets, floor liners and cargo mat puts MSRP at $77900 and invoice at $74443. Add $50 to invoice and your at $74493.

Add HD trailer tow package and you are at MSRP of $79470 and invoice of $75935. If he's at $74500, they are probably doing $1500 in ford rebates in that number.

OK deal but you can do better. Ford cash is $1000, Ford finance is another $1000 so you should get $2000 in rebates easy if financing through ford. Own a ford and you get another $1000. Then there are $500 rebates for first responders, military, etc and I think another $500 for farmers.

You should target $73500 IMO rather than $74500. (more if you can qualify for more than $2k in ford rebates)
