in today for a seal replacement. Worn out and starting to develop a small leak. 2016 el platinum with 42,000 miles

Was it dripping or just wet? I'm just curious before I look at mine.....'17 w 73K.

Hey jeff, dripping. It was all over the front portion of the driveshaft joint and some had made its way onto the crossmember under there as well. Never saw any spots in my driveway. I think the truck was catching most of it. Fairly common seal to warp and stretch. When I pressed in the seal more would come out that’s what worried me. 30 minute fix under warranty. If you have to do it yourself, here’s a good video on a different truck

Yeah it was easy fix for them. Drain the fluid, pull driveshaft, pull seal, install new seal, new fluid
