Went our to start the expedition several weeks ago and it was dead no click or anything so i assumed the battery was bad and replaced it. Also replace the positive cable end. Now every couple of days when i try to start it it is dead, no click or anything. I discovered if i disconnect the battery and reconnect it, it starts right up. Have taken it to the dealer and they cant figure out what is wrong with it.

If the rear wiper checks out you'll need to do a parasitic draw test. Learn to do it yourself if you can because it can take a lot of time.

Do a voltage drop test. sometimes the new terminals can be the problem. also test the rest of the cables. this is a good starting point and easy to do. You don't need a full multimeter to do it just a digital volt meter.
