    Good news! I got the Over the Air (OTA) update for the trailer software bug a few days ago. It came after some other updates, so I suspect I needed those updates to enable the towing update.

    I'd invest in the insulating wrap if you want it to last as long as possible. The ecoboost 3.5 twin turbo throws some crazy heat under load.

    Yeah, in hindsight its probably been failing for a while but at this point I am past warranty. My driving habits (how often, how far, etc) are VERY consistent and I noticed the truck going in to low power mode more often (updates failing, no animation on the screen when opening the door...

    They replaced the chrome around my shifter knobs for bubbling chrome, but that was before the recall so the part came in about a week.

    My 2023 SPP had peeling where shown. I think they replaced just the trim piece around the shifter cluster. So.... am I "done" or will I be going back for the rest of the chrome? Does anyone know? (My chrome was bubbling, but hadn't peeled yet. I just knew it would peel after warranty expired...

    Just to finish the story.... The charger got the update to install, but I just went out and bought a new battery. It's on the charger now and I'll install it tomorrow. Thanks again.

    Positive right on battery Negative, after the BMS sensor (where the chassis ground attaches) hope that's right.

    I have the original battery in my 2023 Expy Limited SPP. My NOCO Genius charger has a desulfate setting. So I have questions. 1) Is desulfating a good thing for AGM batteries? (This is my first AGM equipped vehicle). 2) Should I connect the charger directly to the battery (bypassing the BMS)...

    How was the fit jumping from h6 to h8? Physically did it just drop in? Or did you need to do anything special? Like remove insulation etc?

    Just an update and thanks. I put the charger on my Expy last night. This morning I came out and the update was completed. The battery was definitely the problem. Do you have this graphic larger so I can read it? The copy posted is blurry.
