Rough idle/driving
pull your intake tube off and look at your TB if it has a black ring around the inside try cleaning it with throttle body cleaner and a rag.- BadCompanyRods

P0118 dilemma

Do what panda suggests but.. Have some one in the cab foot ready to hit the brake just in case.. jack the truck up so that you have a sufficient amount of tire to ground clearance.. a mechanics stethoscope is great to pinpoint noises.. you can pick them up for a few bucks from any tool...- BadCompanyRods

Rough idle? P0171, P0174? Here's what you need to check first!!!
Not to beat a dead horse.. but also check your TBs if they have a black ring around the inside of the TB that can cause rough idle and even some hesitation on extreme cases.. Get some TB cleaner and clean that up too..- BadCompanyRods

if it is a continuous knocking sound while you are driving.. I would try to pinpoint if it is from the transfer case or front differential.. Also check the U joints on your front drive shaft. for that just grab the drive shaft with the VEHICLE OFF AND IN PARK.. and rotate the drive shaft...- BadCompanyRods
