P0118 dilemma

Ok.. MIL came on this morning I scanned for codes and got p0118. ECT Sensor Circuit High Voltage..

Issue 1: OBDII scanner is saying ECT
All Data shows ECT for this code

Issue 2. Mitchell shows CHT for this code and shows this model has an ECT for guage only...


Issue 3. Napa stocks both ECT and CHT for my model and engine size. Oreilly only has ECTs

Any experience? I ordered a new CHT from Ford getting it tomorrow..

on my 2000 5.4 I have both.

the cht is under the drivers side front of the intake. the alt has to be removed to get to it.

ect was in the intake, after the thermostat housing and very easy to change.
