How to shut off horn chirp when using remote lock and unlock
That's what I'm trying to get mine to do. I have the factory remote and no aftermarket alarms. My other Fords and Mercury Mountaineers have all been like that but it was a programmable function and I know I read how to select and de select the function. I just can't find out how I did it.- beachbox

How to shut off horn chirp when using remote lock and unlock
Just bought my new 2006 Eddie Bauer with heavy towing package and I love the truck. It's my second gen 2 (had a 2003) but it's driving me crazy. I know I was able to shut it off on my old Mountaineers and the 2003 Expo but can't remember how to do it. Anybody know the recipe? Thanks in advance. Bob- beachbox
