I just had this happen yesterday on my wife's 2011. No lights today though. I scanned for codes and got nothing. Did the dealer ever figure out what this was?
Yes, very easy to install.
On a side note. I have been running it since late December without the tune and I really miss it. I have been having some trouble with a missing sensation and intermittent lack of power. The dealer can't seem to find anything. I have left to tune off until they...

Just got a custom tune from 5 Star, and it solved all my problems. Best $415 I ever spent!
I just wanted to let you know that the tune seems to be working out great. The throttle response is drasticly inproved, the increase in power is very noticeable (it will actually pull a hill now) and the sloppy shifts are nice and firm. I've gone a half a tank and I think the MPG is a little...
OK...got ahold of Mike at 5 star.
This is what I said to him:
I have a 2011 Expedition with 6k miles on it. Since new, I have been very unhappy with the lack of power and poor throttle response. On hot days it seems like it won't even pull a hill. When it downshifts, it seems to loose power...
All 2011 and newer vehicles have these forward leaning headrests...I don't know why. My wife always ********************ed about the headrests in ours until my Mom just bought a 2012 Traverse. Those are even worse. One ride in the Traverse and it finally shut her up about the headrests.
Solisimo, I tried to email Mike at 5 star, and the address was no good. I also tried to use the contact form on there site and it din't seem to work. Do you have a good email addy for him?
I read something in one of the F150 forums about metal on the dash support rubbing the firewall. Dealers had to take the dash out and grind some metal away. I just hate to have them ripping the dash apart.
Spent all day in there and can't find a thing! It think something is rubbing. I noticed it only does it on cold days and/or after driving with the A/c on for 15min or so. Shoved a bunch of foam in there and nothing helped. Also, it only does it on straight aways. If you are turning or going...
I have developed a very annoying rattle in the dash behind the glove compartment. The weird thing is sometimes it doesn't do it, then other times it rattles like crazy as soon as you start moving. Any insight? And yes....I checked....it's not something in the glove compartment. (2011 Limited)
I was thinking of using a programmer to improve the throttle response on my '11. Does anyone know if this would help? I was thinking about trying the superchips beacause my friend used it on his '08 Jeep and raves about it. Anyone tried this.....anyone want to be the ginnea pig?
