    Replace front lower control arm bushings

    You might try freezing the new bushings. This will stiffen and shrink the rubber, and slightly shrink the aluminum casting. I would only do this if all else fails as there is always a chance of damaging the rubber, although these vehicles operate in environments much colder than your freezer...

    Cylinder 5 misfire even with new coil !

    Check the plug. I chased a #8 misfire for far too long believing the plug was good because the dealer just changed all 8. I finally went back to troubleshooting 101, pulled the plug and found the ground strap missing. Replaced the plug and all was well. Bottom line, don't discount simple solutions.

    2006 Limited 202500 miles Rear blend door actuator replaced Brake pedal adjuster gear replaced Factory Radio replaced. No engine noises noted.

    Fuel Milage

    06 Limited. 60% hwy, 40% city. Use STP 5W-20 with 1qt Lucas Oil. Plugs changed 30k ago with OEM. Average 15-16MPG depending on ratio of hwy to city. Vehicle has 193k miles. Run a K&N air filter with stock air box and ducting.

    Adjustable Pedals broken?

    I am very interested. Please send me info to [email protected]. Any issue with problem migration switching from plastic to brass? Either way, I definitely would like more information as I need to repair my Expedition and would prefer not to change the brake pedal assembly!
