OK, I just did my 2003 Expedition, and the kit came with 2 extra lines to cover brake cylinder to abs for years 2005-2006. There is no flex portion, but if you think this will work, I can send them to you at no cost. I was going to throw them in my spare parts bin, but rather see them put to use.
Progress update. I have all the brake lines installed. InLine Tubing sent me a tube for the missing line. Inline Tech support was helpful, and the line was shipped to me for free. Unusual these days to find a company that will help. Not really their fault, my 2003 is in the transition from Gen 1...
I am with Hamfisted on this on. The coolant lines to the heater core and connecting lines to rear heater are over three and four.
One really obscure possibility is the windshield washer lines. They run under the cowling and T off to the PAX spray nozzle then to driver's side.
Here is the pressure sensor. Above the cross member where it meets the driver side frame rail. Spliced into the vent hose that goes back to the filler tube.
You are going to have to drop the tank. Consider the hose to the filler tube and vent. They are cheap and can lead to the slow leak code. Also, in front, there are two hoses. One is for the EVAP system and the other is the fuel line from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. The EVAP line is the...
Maybe someday I will find the com problem. My 2003, build in Sep 2002, is really a mess with the transition from Gen 1 to Gen 2. Three different com busses. The EATC which can mess with 4WD and a brake line configuration that does match because AdvancTrac was added. AdvancTrac has been a...
I have the shop manuals and did the point to point checks a couple of times. Gave up, took it to the dealer, they could not find a connector or ground problem either. Suggested replacing the module. Obviously, that didn't work. The module works and sends messages, I can reset the advance track...
I also do not know if you can turn the motor with a screw driver. It is a step motor that runs the transfer case to the correct gearing. You can remove the motor from the transfer case and see if it turns with the switch. At least that will isolate to a motor problem or an indication problem.
I have done a little searching through the forum and found another inline tube installation and think I have found my problem with the line. The line I have appears to attach to a junction block. Pictures courtesy of Lee_H and BrandonK4204 show the block and line layout of the cross over...
I am not sure about 2005, but in my 2003 I had the exact same problem. It turned out to be the controls for air conditioning and heater. The circuit board went bad and messed up the buss. Found out that since 4x4 was an option and so was the upgraded front/rear heating and cooling, they were on...
Here is the progress. I did attempt to change out the ABS module with no good results. I put the scanner on the new module and still no communication. I guess I will just drive around with the skid marks until I get rid of the vehicle. I have started installing an inline tube kit and it is going...
