Help! 18 Volts while running
Hey guys, I got a 97 Expo that putting out 18 volts. Has anyone ever seen a Ford alt do that before? I haven't, only seen them put out 12 volts or less. I'm still thinking its a bad ALt. I don't think it does, but is this PCM controlled charging? Appreciate a quick reply if possible.- Bryan Bottorff

97 Expo Dies overnight
Hello, Got a 97 Expo that drains the battery overnight. I noticed a slight electronic smell coming from behind the dash, and yes, the door ajar light does come on. When I scanned the PCM, it came up at LF door damper motor. Am I to guess the faulty door switch has killed the GEM causing it...- Bryan Bottorff

Oil filter housing gasket
Hey Jim, I just watched the only YouTube video on removing the lines and replacing the adapter gasket. In his video, he has a 98 Expo 4wh drive. He didn't drop the diff or take out the axle. Morning Jim, Thank you for the info. Since I have the oil filter extension into the bumper, I'm betting that the axle is in the way of un-bolting those lines. I'll crawl under it to see what I can do and go from there. Have you done one of these before? Bryan- Bryan Bottorff
