Cause it looks cool. Limits use drastically for my use case. I would only be able to drive that ****** in daylight or with a wicked light bar blinding everyone along my way!- byathread

2022–2024 Expedition Limited/MAX buyer advice (HD Tow required, winter driving, prefer physical HVAC)
Spec hunting a used one... Good luck! I was looking for the same on a leftover last year and had two SPPs on my radar with smaller screen, hd tow, and elsd. Couldn't bring myself to pay the premium for what it is that can be had after market for way cheaper and better in that tune. That is all...- byathread

Wired CarPlay
Android guy here... I've found the wired to be more robust on my '24, I just plug in ahead of hitting the start button. I've had a few instances where wireless disconnected and wouldn't reconnect/stopped using it and just went back to the good ol cable - works great in all use senarios for me.- byathread

You won't miss the V8 (maybe the sound, that's it). The only replacement for displacement is forced induction... This engine is terrific for most applications, IMO.- byathread

This! ☝️Even at 60 if you keep an eye on the turbos they are inducting much more than at 55! Just a lot more drag (weight/air/rolling resistance w/addtional axles, etc.) - It's exponentially higher with more speed. You do sound like me, I simply can't stand driving that slow! Depends on use case/whether you have CCD or not I think! More importantly, what WD Hitch are you using and what are all your axle weights when loaded? Go to a CAT scale at a truck stop and check (loaded, like you would be for a trip/camping)... Optimize from there. I had a Blue OX Sway Pro WD...- byathread

'24 ~1500mi review vs my '19
Drove the 3.0. It left me wanting horsepower... Great motor, just prefer the ecoboost/gas motor for my use case (shuttling kids in the burbs/ski trips/waiting in it running to keep warm/cool). I don't like idling a diesel for long periods.- byathread
