'97 4x4 failure
1997 4x4 5.4L the 4x4 feature does not work at all. no if you switch between 4l, 4h, awd.........nothing works. about a month ago, if you selected a setting, it would just click and different settings would light up. then it just stopped working. the systen functioned fine last year...- csamra

yeah i know, close the door!! thing is, its harder to get to the keg if you do that! 1997 xped, 4x4 there is no way to kill the lites than to add a switch or close the door?? does the '97 have this battery minder feature? if so, how can i implement it? thanks- csamra

silly question whenever we go to a sporting event and tailgate, we leave the rear tailgate up so we have access to the rear of the vehicle. problem is the interior lites and the running board lites stay on and never turn off. a couple of times we needed a jump to get to get her started...- csamra
