    I forgot where I had seen it. But when I was looking for a camper I searched all over for what I could pull. I may have posted the number for the HD tow package accidentally but I thought I remembered seeing it as the tow prep package with the WD hitch.

    im not sure if the iphone has this available, but my android had a mount available from verizon that was like a normal windshield suction cup mount for a gps unit. could check into that.

    whats the factory tow rating on a second gen. i have a third gen with the basic tow prep and mine is good for 8750 with a weight distribution hitch. i tow 7k with no problem. from what i noticed with the hd tow is a trans cooler and an oil cooler. and i believe the new ones have a built in...

    you could always buy a front hitch mount and then get a winch that slides into the 2" reciever.

    i remember that thread. that expy was beautiful. im wondering if they didnt keep driveline angles correct and thats why they had issues or what was going on. i may have to find a second gen to park next to and study the differences in rear suspension.

    Thanks for the info. I'm looking into the differences between the two rear suspensions. I'm hoping it will work. If not its a straight axle swap and an f150 lift. I want to do the fiberglass front conversion and make some rear quarters and go the Baja/trophy truck look.

    hello, my father in law gave me a trans temp gauge he used on his old truck for towing. im looking to put it in my 07. im looking to find out if there is a sending unit i can tap into or do i need to buy something and install it? thanks guys.
