Our 4X4 only beach has been closed for over a year for re-nourishment and the sand there is deeper. It reopens tomorrow so I will be driving it there more now and will let if any issues resurface.
Hello all, sorry for not replying sooner. I am not able to check here as frequently lately. Similar to apex96 my warnings and errors cleared out on their own. I did take it to the dealer and got the usual message about not being able to recreate the issue. Had it on the beach many times...
Anyone that transports fishing rods inside their Expedition have a recommendation or advice for rod holders that go inside up by the headliner? Right now I am seeing an Inno rack (I like RVInno rack designs and have their surf rack already) which seems like a little overkill and is expensive...
Thanks everyone for the information.
Yeah . . . it's been a long time since I owned an "American" car so I assumed everything would be standard. The 78 Bronco I had 20 years ago I don't think was metric, but it also wasn't completely stock either.
Anyone know what size a 2018 expedition would need with the aluminum oil pan? Thinking of the valvomax just because it's stainless steel and I drive on the beach frequently.
Amazon says this fits but just odd to me because it sounds metric...
I agree with Deadman completely. . . 3/4 of my shocks went bad (at different times) on my 2018 and I can honestly say I didn't "feel" them go bad, but I did "see" them go bad when they were leaking and looked like they were oily but not so bad that they left puddles under my vehicle in the...
I had to replace my battery as well. I actually realized that the battery was going bad because the start stop wasn't turning off the engine anymore and if you go to that section in the menu it will tell you that start stop is disabled to charge the battery or something like that. Mine just...
We tow a 6000lb boat and trailer and don't do anything special other than put it in tow drive mode (I can't remember if that happens automatically when it senses the trailer is attached or not). Mileage is pretty bad at 12-13 mpg but I let the transmission do it's thing. I do have it in tow...
Agree with what other people said already. Glad everyone is safe. It's a very unfortunate incident but there are too many unknowns for Ford to take responsibility and any evidence to dispute that just went up in flames or melted away. That is pretty crazy how the aluminum just melts away I...
I use mine every morning and enjoy having it. . The kids like to open the shade when its raining or at night to see the sky. No issues after two years but I do think it needs some lubrication now, and maybe a track cleaning
I used Flood for warranty too. . . 8 year 100k . . .
2018 XLT issues
3 out of 4 struts leaking and were replaced
Still having issues with the mirrors popping
Middle seatbelt in second row wouldn't click in was replaced
Some weird issue with 4wheel drive when I first got it received dash messages...
How do I get this feature on my 2018 XLT? Didn't see the options in the advance vehicle settings? This would be very useful in Florida's summers. Thanks.
Add me to the list and to the backorder issue. . . . went in on December 19th for the knocking sound in the front when I went over speed bumps (leaking strut was the problem). Finally arrived on January 15th, 2020. Problem is that since then my rear passenger side also went bad. When they...
