Man that sounds familliar. Had the Expy at a local dealership for the infamous leaking window and rusted GEM module replacement. The dealer decided to swap the starter for some unknown reason without my consent. Sure enough, about the 3rd time I start it, the bendix doesnt engage the flywheel...
While changing a flat today ('99 EB 4X4), I noticed the damnest thing. The sway bar is not connected to the wishbone. Went to the other side....and same thing. Before I make an ass out myself, anybody elses look like this?? I thought there was a link and bushing connection.
Thanks.
The other problem with overwattage bulbs is that they burn out in half the time due to the heat. The silverstars are definitly the way to go. You won't fall over in amazement, but they are definitly an improvement over the OEM bulbs. (Have fun changing the drivers side bulb by the way)...
What's up Fred. A friend of a friend has projectors in his 2000 expy, and i don't see a huge difference between those, and the sylvania silverstars i use, certainly not $400 difference. And I have seen HID upgrade kits on e-bay for less than $400 btw.
