A few quick questions about my 98 Expedition.
#1 98 is the change year from Pats 1 to Pats 2. Early 98's only need one key to program a second key. The transponder can be programmed easily but all of them have to be programmed at the same time. The gears in the regulator mechanism are pretty chewed up. Looks like the regulator with motor is $85 and will take an hour or so to install. 1998 expedition EB AC stuck in COLD
Either the heater core is plugged or the Heater blend door/actuator actuator failed. Dash will have to come apart just like a heater core replacement- DRHaulsee

1998 EB Expedition 4.6 238,000 miles Had to replace heater cores and rear axle gears and bearings after I bought it. I did all the work. $500 +$325 parts- DRHaulsee
