Coolant Loss\Markatable?
Yes sir, I do hear ya. MY concern is not so much the head gasket replacement, but what you will find when you get in it/ what you "might as well" replace since you are there. Those numbers add up quickly.
Any thoughts on fair pair (if even marketable) on 2004 Eddie...
Got oil analysis report back today. Although there are no visible signs of coolant, the analysis picked up high sodium and potassium indicating coolant. Combustible gas content was higher than normal also. Pretty sure it is the head gasket.
What is average cost of head gasket repair and is...
Went to shop today to perform a coolant system pressure test. We pumped pressure up to 16psi and let sit. Did not see any coolant leakage nor did we see any los of pressure. Oil was drained and looks normal to the eye. I took a oil sample and shipped it today to Blackstone for actual oil...
Bought my first expedition (2004) about 5 months ago. Purchased it from elderly lady with approximately 93k miles. Do not drive it much at all, but when I do, I have to add coolant to reservoir after every drive. Could not find any visible leaks. Today, found milky substance on oil under oil...
Truck is 2 wheel drive. I drove it to day to see track down problem further. For the first 45 mins minutes, truck drove excellent. After that, it started the same problem of vibration during acceleration at highway speeds. From what I can tell, it only does it when driving over 60 mph and only...
I recently purchased an 04 expedition a couple of months ago. Currently has 94000 miles. Yesterday when driving home, I started getting a vibration at highway speeds under load. If I am cruising along at 65mph, vehicle rides just fine. When I add a little acceleration, it starts vibrating. If I...
Yep, had to use the wiring diagrams to track my rear ac auxiliary fan problem this weekend. Thanks again for the wiring diagrams Bedrck 47. Had a bad rear climate control fan speed switch that was not allowing the rear ac fan to come on. Just noticed that the sunroof switch did not illuminate...
Thanks Bedrck 47 for the additional prints. Was able to track down the path problem to the driver controlled auxiliary ac fan speed switch. None of the positions on the switch was actually allowing a path from load side of relay to gnd. Think this the only issue.
Thanks Bedrck47 for the prints.
I have the EATC. I checked voltage, and I have voltage all the way to 12 BK/LG which is one side of the wires going directly to the fan. I checked it against chasis ground. Looks like the relay is pulling in. Looks like I need page 52-3 to follow the path...
Hi,
Just purchased 2004 Eddie Bauer. The Rear ac motor is not blowing any air. Checked voltage at motor itself and was not getting any voltage. Could someone tell me the location of the rear ac motor relay? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S.--In the process of getting a shop manuel.
