Cam Phaser and Cat Conv Replaced
We had the emissions CEL and Ford wanted to change one cat. Instead I replaced both cats…and still get the CEL from time to time. No drivability issues and it goes off by itself.- fatgroundhog

Different exhaust
Has anyone cut open or tested the stock mufflers to see how well they flow? I imagine the performance folks have...and I don't recall any indication that the stock muffler caused any concerning back pressure. How many owners out there with no major issues?
2018 Max Limited just went over 103K. Cam phasers replaced, leaky struts, valve cover gasket leak, clogged catalytic converter, popping mirrors, hub replaced due to grinding. Downpipes consensus?
We have not noticed any change from stock in the exhaust sound or any drone. Surprising, I know. We have about 2500 miles on this now, including some 6 hour trips. Works great and no CEL. Still very happy with our purchase.- fatgroundhog

Downpipes consensus?
Just put the SPD downpipes on our 2018. We threw a code for a bad cat, and the Ford dealership wanted $1880 to replace it. Burning smell
Update: transmission appears fine--fluid smells fine, and doesn't seem to have exceeded acceptable temps. The burning/smoke was the result of a bad valve cover gasket, which was replaced under warranty.- fatgroundhog

3rd Row Seat Folding Motor Cover missing

Those that have had the cam phasers replaced
Just had ours replaced (81K miles). Question: does this effort require removal and replacement of the thermostat? Took the truck in with obvious cam phaser rattle and a recurring coolant leak. Stupid Ford Lugnuts!
Just for the record...maybe it'll help someone :). Our 2018 Expy lugs swelled so I couldn't get the lug wrench on.
