POP or Klunk like something is slipping when in 4 wheel drive

CV Shaft Help
Is there anyway to tell what side it is coming from? I have turned the wheels both ways in a turn and can hear it no matter what, thanks for the help so far guys!- gns30

Ok first I'd like to say I have searched Hi and Lo on here for any help on how to check the CV shaft and couldn't find anything, my jedi search skills are not strong! Here is my issue: When the truck is in 4AWD it will make a popping sound when 4 wheel engages or if placed in 4h or 4l. I...- gns30

New to this forum and Expeditions!
I've been reading this forum for a few days now and decided it was time to sign up! I bought a used 99 4x4 Expedition and she has seen better days, but she has plenty of life left in her! I'm hoping with the help of this site, I can get her running pretty good, so thanks in advance!- gns30
