    Weird coolant leak

    I have the same weird coolant leak. Did you have to remove your intake to access the hoses in question? I can't find the source of the leak anywhere.

    Sounds like the switch. I just had the same problem with my 2000 5.4. Switch was about $10 or so at Advance Auto. It's located next to your oil filter. I found it easiest to get to it from underneath. Go just behind the front diff. and look up towards your filter. I used a long needle nose...

    2000 Expy 5.4 with 165,551. In the last year I've replaced front rotors, rear lower trailing arms, brake hose (rusted), steering return line (rusted), alternator and one COP.

    Exhaust Manifold replacement creates SES warning

    Same thing happened to me when I had to replace my manifold studs. I think I finshed off my O2 sensor with all of the PB Blaster I used to get the studs out. I got my new O2 sensor at Advanced Auto Parts for $43 IIRC. It was a little tough to get to but it's definately a do it yourself job.

    145325 on my 2000 5.4 4x4. Running like a champ!
