05 Eddie Bauer P0012 Code
Thanks for the quick reply. I love doing my own work and been using a Haynes. It leaves a lot to the imagination though. I will have to look into the dvd. Can the VCT unit be un stuck if you remove it? I did see it with the timing cover off and looks like the valve cover has to be removed...- HARV54

05 Eddie Bauer P0012 Code
Bought a used Expedition for cheap 120,000 miles and had the CEL on. Code is P0012 bank 1 cam position over retard. I am pretty mechanically inclined I am a aircraft mechanic so I thought I could fix it myself and have a nice Expo for cheap. When I first bought it, there was clicking noise...- HARV54
