Misfire after timing job
I did a timing job on my 05 I followed Fordtech makuloco video. It ran perfect for maybe 10 minutes then it started what I believe is a misfire the motor was shaking but check engine line did not come on. I was eventually able to get a code out of it misfire on numbers 3 and 7. But it only...- Hhernandez91

Dropped cam bolt
Yea I upgraded the oil pump I never use 5w20. This incident made me look into one cameras it could have saved me a huge headache.- Hhernandez91

Dropped cam bolt
Found the bolt sitting on top of the sway bar bracket. Decided to look again after the magnet came up empty and I didn’t want to drop the oil pan. Thanks for the help really appreciate it.- Hhernandez91

I did remove the wheel well still couldn’t find it I didn’t remove the hoses. Today was rain/snow day so I couldn’t go out there and keep looking. Ordering the magnet today so hopefully it gets here soon.- Hhernandez91

Dropped cam bolt
It’s an 05 it’s sitting in the drive way not grass it could be in the suspension it so tight over on the passages side you can only get in there so much. The cap landed on the frame right next the exhaust manifold in the rear of the engine when I managed to fish it out there was only one bolt. I...- Hhernandez91

Dropped cam bolt
I was replacing the passenger side cam I managed to drop a cam cap. After finding it only one bolt was attached I was not able to locate the other one. I believe it may have fallen into the head and into the oil passage. Any advice on where to go from here would be appreciated.- Hhernandez91
