One question, is the air hot or cold?
I think I have an answer. Anybody who can tell me I'm wrong, please chime in.
The AC compressor comes on to dry the air for the defrost. I think it is normal.

I guess to better answer your question, it's all a crap shoot. Sometimes you get lemons, sometimes you get lemonade. I've got 114000 on my 99 and have had very little trouble out of it (knock on wood), but some owners of 03's have had nothing but trouble. My Expy replaced a Grand Voyager minivan...
Not to get off the subj,ect, but I've got 55000 miles on my set of Goodyears. BUT, I've heard that they are notorious for causing thumps, bangs and bumps. Try rotating them. If the bump moves to the back, you know it's a tire.
Fill us in. Unfortunately in NC there is only about 10 stations that carry E85, and the closest to me is about 50 miles away. Never the less, I'm interested in what you've learned.
