    I've never heard of them, so I went to their web site. It's a pretty useless site, but the picture of the Expy looks pretty tough.

    One question, is the air hot or cold? I think I have an answer. Anybody who can tell me I'm wrong, please chime in. The AC compressor comes on to dry the air for the defrost. I think it is normal. I hope this helps.

    I had the same code , hose to the PVC valve had collasped. Check for leaks. I agree, the engine is getting unmetered air from somewhere.

    I guess to better answer your question, it's all a crap shoot. Sometimes you get lemons, sometimes you get lemonade. I've got 114000 on my 99 and have had very little trouble out of it (knock on wood), but some owners of 03's have had nothing but trouble. My Expy replaced a Grand Voyager minivan...

    Usually, anything to improve airflow will improve MPG, if you remember to keep your foot out of it.

    Not to get off the subj,ect, but I've got 55000 miles on my set of Goodyears. BUT, I've heard that they are notorious for causing thumps, bangs and bumps. Try rotating them. If the bump moves to the back, you know it's a tire.

    Just to brainstorm a bit.... it could be tire balance. That's why it starts and stops at certain speeds.

    Fill us in. Unfortunately in NC there is only about 10 stations that carry E85, and the closest to me is about 50 miles away. Never the less, I'm interested in what you've learned.

    As far as I know, there are no Expeditions that are flex fuel. Flex fuel is the ability to burn regular gas or E85, which is 85% ethanol, 15% gas.

    The way I see it; will the Expy be worth the money you put in it? It's always cheaper to keep her. Do you have anything else to pull your boat?
