Cylinder 1 misfire
IF that doesnt fix it, the next guess would be a bad fuel injector. JUST had this issue with the CEL and Cyl 1 misfire on my sons car and it was a bad injector.- KC Dave

Sounds like the fuel pump to me also. Contrary to above I dissagree, a fuel pump is not just good or bad. The pickup screen can come loose, the pressure dump valve can be bad (Depending on the vehicle type), it can run poorly, etc.. Its all related to pressure. If the pressure is wrong, the...- KC Dave

What are the best spark plugs to use?
Arent the replacement Motorcraft plugs a one piece design now? I would use Motorcraft with no question. These motors just seem to run better with them.- KC Dave

movin on up! (1st gen to 2nd gen)
I assume that they both run correctly... I have an 05, and I actually looked at 3 of them, 2 05's and 1 06 before I bought mine. Listen carefully for any Cam Phaser noise. The one I bought was quiet, but both the other two had some noise.. Expensive repair, so just throwing that out there.- KC Dave

tire problem
Are you sure this is not a power steering issue? IE as the pressure increases you get some push in the gearbox?- KC Dave

Expedition broken into
Curious how the alarm didnt go off.. On my daughters Explorer, the lock is messed up and if you lift the handle, the door opens even when locked, BUT, the alarm sounds unless she unlocks it with the Fob. Did you lock it and "beep" the system to set the Alarm? I would sure test the alarm...- KC Dave
