Driver door ajar (Not the switch)
My problem was when I try to out my window down, the truck thought I opened the door and it would deploy the running boards, turn on dome light, and indicate that the door was open even though it wasn’t. Found a broken wire in the loom between the door and the jam.- kenstang

Window switch haywire
2017 Expedition EL Limited. When I go to put down my windows, using any window switch, while the truck is running, the truck chimes that the drivers door is open, the interior lights come on and the running boards deploy. It’s an intermittent issue that started yesterday. Happened from the...- kenstang

2016/third gen electrical gremlins - SYNC, Backup camera, blower motor
I had the same issue with my blower motor. Had to kick under the dash to get it to work. It was the blower motor resistor, more importantly it was the plug onto the resistor. I originally changed the resistor and it kept doing it. I had to cut out the plug and connect a new plug to it- kenstang
