Broken wires in visor - drivers side. 2017 Expy -How to repair?

I had my headliner down, and had to remove both visors. Three screws in each and an electrical connector. You would likely need to reprogram the buttons.

My Expedition came with Platinum Price and Pinto Quality

I have a 2016 Limited, and have had a two pain in the ass issues. Blend Door Actuator. Ford Dealer wanted >$700 to remove dash to replace. (This after I told them the noise was in back right quarter). I reached inside the trim and felt the clicking component. I got a new one and fixed it myself...

how to tell when key fob battery is dying?

I’ve been using the spot in the center console for two months. Both fobs have new batteries, and aside from last week, the temp has been above freezing. I checked as many connections as I could get to, and all the fuses and grounds. The dealer wanted to remove my headliner (5 hrs @$145 per). I...

    Running Boards

I went through this with an F-150 last week. I know you mentioned you tried lubricating with no success. Did you first spray on some liquid wrench? The way I fixed mine was: 1: cleaned all rotating points with a wire brush 2: applied liquid wrench and allowed to soak in for about 15 minutes...

Mine displayed the warning intermittently over several months, but always started on a second attempt. Now it won’t start at all. FYI, if it totally fails, and a new battery won’t help, there is a slot inside the center console to place your fob. The vehicle starts with the push button. I’m...

    Heated/Cooled seats problem identified

I placed my order for the plug, and don’t want to work upside down so long. The seats are really cooking, but I need to clean up the fix I rigged. The wires were so short when I cut the original ground that I needed to add some extra wire creating an additional connection. I tried using the...

    Heated/Cooled seats problem identified

Disregard. I figured it out. I am going to order a new plug now that I validated the issue with much help from this page. FYI, there is no way I’m getting the box back in place without taking the seat out

    Heated/Cooled seats problem identified

Muddy, I got the assembly out without removing the seat. The plug around the ground is pretty well melted as shown in other pictures I’ve seen. The pin is discolored, but I should be able to clean it up. Am I to splice the pins together inside the assembly?

    Heated/Cooled seats problem identified

Muddy, Is that plug under the passenger seat? I’m having same issue. I can’t be sure, but I think it began after I disconnected my battery to clean terminals and posts. I currently don’t have a good feel about the location. Thanks. Lee
