I once saw something here on the forum that said it wasn't hard to convert to auto lamps.. I found that long oval piece that has the photo cell in it but, my truck didn't have the harness that plugs into the 2 sensors bolted to the the oval dash piece... how hard is it to convert to auto...
2001 expo...with super low miles
I got my xlt from an old guy that was retired from fords... its a 2001 bone stock awd expo... black with grey trim.. leather and tape deck with cd changer... it had 26345 miles on it the day I picked up... I paid $7000 for it.. I change radio and wheels alarm...
hood supports
so i went to autozone and found what i need... i guess the stock hood is not made of steel, and they list a strut for the truck with a steel replacement hood. its a little bit thicker... works great... price is $25
just got a 2001 xlt, truck is clean. it only has 28k miles on it.. already replaced the hood with a all steel cowl hood.. the lifts wont hold the hood up.. any body found stronger struts.. i've tried the turbolifts, cant remeber the model number , but they were some where here on the forum..
