I run spacer on mine and never had an issue I know some frown upon them due to safety if the spacer comes loose. But I can tell I used them for years and swapped wheels in the winter and summer and have never found a loose lug. just make sure you torque them down and you should be fine
You lose your Tow hooks and bull bar brackets takes their place if you need to run front plate you will need a plate relocation kit or just use the top screws for the bottom holes of the plate worked for me and has never come loose
Give us some feedback on the quickjacks I have been also on the bench if I should pull the trigger on purchasing them working on stands and jacks makes me nervous sometimes especially working on suspension parts or exhaust where you end up almost under the truck good luck on your suspension...
I know my Expy is the older gen but as far as ride change the truck felt smoother with the wheels but that could be more of the tire issue. My factory wheels are 20's on BF goodrich T/A KO2 tires (my winter setup)and my 22 which are Asanti Alpha 5 22's are on yokohama Parada Spec X (summer).
I put on the readylift ranchos on my 2010 Expy EL gave it good lift and level it out the body. The ride so much better it corners a lot better than stock and handle bumps really well. I was also able to fit 305/40/22 which gave the truck a whole different look
I have 2010 EL and used the rancho readylift leveling kit it not only level but also gave it some lift about an 1-3/4 which allows for 295-55-20 winters tires and 305-40-22 for the summer. you can also dial in how soft and hard you want your ride I set mine halfway point not to harsh and not to...
I also have the Racho readylift install with 295 55 20 Tires for the winter it would shake a bit when get up to speed had wheels balanced and that resolved the issue. In the supper I use 305 40 22 with no issue. one suggestion if you use aftermarket wheels makes sure it hub centric if it not its...
I have 22" pn mine with 305 40 22 tire no rubbing issues whatsoever but having the larger RIM will give you rougher ride I personally don't mind it. its not that much of drastic change from factory 20
I installed All-terrain T/A KO2 on my expy I also do a lot of highway traveling and miner dirt roads and fair deep snow in the winter In the NY PA NJ area I never had any issues through the snow or highway driving They are not overly load in the highway or hum like some off road tires but they...
I had the same issue with mine at 130,000 mile. if you lightly hit the gas pedal it will will accelerate but as soon as you try to "gun it" then it would hesitate almost would start pulse like the transmission was slipping. On idle it was fine. I decided on doing full plug and coil replacement...
BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A K02 on My 2010 expi el and they are great snow traction and wet traction and off the blacktop had them for over a year no complaints. I have also ran on my 2007 el the goodyear wrangler all terrain adventure with kevlar very smooth ride and quite and they also do well...
RigPig thanks for the info I was hesitant to do my spark park replacement due to the breaking of the plugs. which I would never attempt on my 2007 expy but on my 2010 expy I may just give it go.
