Head gasket
I bought some time by putting in some head gasket sealer. Surprisingly it worked no more gases in the antifreeze and it actually runs alot better. So when I get the time I'll tear it apart.- lynn

2000 5.4 180,000 mile leaking head gasket. I'm debating if its worth the trouble to fix it? how hard is to do?- lynn

Rough idle? P0171, P0174? Here's what you need to check first!!!
I was all worried and stressed trying to figure out what was wrong and trying all your sugestions and I just needed to go back to the basics. I had a clogged fuel filter runs great now.- lynn

2000 5.4 I started last week with high idle coming and going. The pcv valve was making funny noises so I changed it and the air filter. Ran good for a day than started again, one morning after being parked outside ( 9 deg. cold!!!!) would not stay runny, idle would go to low, until I reved it...- lynn

Help! My abs light came on!
Fixed mine today after I had the dealer run a scan for 50 bucks turned out to be the rear speed sensor. Changed it myself.- lynn

ABS light
My ABS light came on today. I changed front brakes and rotors 3 months ago. I knew my rears were getting close so I changed them and added more fluid and light is still on but I have only driven it around the block. Power steering? overdrive?
2000 5.4 just turned over 100,000 miles. My power steering is starting to get louder. You can her it inside. I really can'nt hear a change standing out side next to it.
