Lights flicker when at a idle.

When at an idle all the lights flicker on my 2000 5.4 where should I start looking bat. alt. reg. belt.????

they flicker brighter or dimerer
just an fyi alt and reg are the samething the reg is bulit in
to the alt

i would say check your battery and see if it is still the factory one and if so replace it with a new one, if the problem still is there have your alternator checked and replace if needs to be and well replacing the alt replace your belt too

Hey,

Unhook your Batt and use a digital voltmeter. if it reads below 12.5 v replace it.
