The rear frame section is rusty in this truck or I would have thought about fixing it. No point now. On the hunt for another one. Also the tire got jammed up into the body buckling the floor. It’s f’ed.- mbtech2003

Son was driving. Got cut off by a racing Porsche owner. I’ve owned this truck for 13 years. Best damn truck I’ve ever had. I will miss it. 207k miles it made in new England rust belt. No injuries at all. Both party’s ok.- mbtech2003

Didn’t feel the need. I blew the reverse band backing up a 8k lb trailer in reverse in 6” of mud. I have horses and was dumping the manure trailer at a local landscape place. Rough country 3" rides rough
Rough country is junk. Rancho is junk. Took the Rancho ones out of my 05 exp and just went with lift blocks with bilstein shocks. Much happier.- mbtech2003

"ROARING" Noise at Higher Speeds (70mph +)

Diff swap
Hey all, I have a 2010 exp with the 3.31 ratios. And I have a 2005 with a 3.73LSD. Does anyone know if I can directly swap the front and rear diffs. Will they bolt up/ axles the same. Bilstein 5100 strut and 4600 shock install finally
I did rock auto motorcraft complete struts when they were cheep on sale. And did 3” front 2.5” rear spacers. With 1.5” wheel spacers. Running 285-70-17 tires. Looks good to me. A little stress on the cv’s but I don’t do a lot of. Twisty off roading. Lol- mbtech2003

Freedom racing has all the parts needed as kits. Some come with tools too. Being a 2005 I would replace camshaft phasers too lifters and followers oil pump. Piece of mind...- mbtech2003

Replacing DISCARD NUTS on front upper arm
I reused them on mine. No lock tite. Justbtorqued them to the German spec goodentite. Been 2 years. lol- mbtech2003

Having trouble getting Catalyst Monitor ready for smog test on 2003 Edddie Bauer
Do two -3 drives about 10 miles from cold to hot. Make sure you get a 5-10 minute highway cruise at 55. Constant speed. Then your done- mbtech2003

Heated/cooled seats not working
Second the burnt line. Did that in my wife’s 2010. Get a connector kit from ford. Easy to fix then.
