Looking for the location of the TCU in my 2013 Expedition Limited. Is it essential for normal operation of the vehicle or is it for tracking my every move? Will disabling it affect other functions? Thanks in advance!

The TCU is the transmission control Unit, it controls the gearbox operation and is critical to the operation of the car. It doesn’t track you but it does learn how you drive and try to change how the transmission shifts to better match your driving style.
