    Knocking Rod 4.6L

    Well crap... That didn't take long. Motor is seized up now and I have that boat anchor I was dreading in the driveway... Good thing I bought the '06 last week as a replacement. Now I guess I start calling around looking for a motor. Wish me luck.

    I'm not real happy with the mileage I'm getting from this 5.4L '06 Expedition. I bought it to take the family on a Disney World trip and I'm looking at about 3,500 miles round trip... What kind of chips have you guys used and what kind of results have you gotten specific to mpg improvements?

    I just bought a new to us 2006 Expedition with keyless entry. The dealership didn't have the door code. They told me it would be hidden somewhere on the truck but I'm not sure where. Anybody know where I might find it?

    I've got a 2004 with a knocking rod. Any ideas what I'm going to be looking at on cost for a rebuild or replacement motor? I'm not sure if it's even worth the bother but I hate the idea of parking a boat anchor in the driveway...
