    4 Wheel drive noise

I "borrowed" the vacuum pump from checker auto. The hose to the IWE is right on top of the hub, just pull it off, hook some tube to the IWE, draw out the air and watch the gauge ( I think you pump it to about 6 psi) to see if it bleeds off, check both sides. If the "diesel" sounding side holds...

    4 Wheel drive noise

Nope, no special tools needed. I used a plastic dead blow mallet. They really practically fall out! Thank you for your service! JP

    4 Wheel drive noise

Very easy, and no alignment needed. Just print it out when you do it.

    4 Wheel drive noise

Get a vacuum PUMP with a gauge not just a gauge. Pull the hose/tube off the top of the IWE and pump out (create a vacuum) which will pull the IWE closed. Then if the vacuum bleeds off, you know you have a bad IWE(s)

    4 Wheel drive noise

Let me back track for a moment, this happened a few months back. I did get a new module (they only come hooded now) and it did not solve my problem. I rented a vacuum pump from Checker auto and tested my IWE (real simple test) and found it was my RF integrated wheel end was leaking vacuum and...

    Power window module

Cool, I will take it apart this weekend. My Bro is an EE as well, so I will have him look at the board to see what fixes/ideas he comes up with. I will keep you posted. Thank you again for the help.

    Power window module

Thank you for the videos! Do you have a write up on it as well? The step where you take the actual button/switch off, you say you just yank on them? So they pop off fairly easy? I afraid of breaking them. Also on the LED video, I see you have the same intermittent lighting problem I have, what...

    Power window module

Instructions would be great! the top (button) part seems to be grabbing something behind the switches? Bottom comes off easy. Maybe just a pic of the inside of the top if any, otherwise instructions would be cool, do you need my email address? Thanks for the reply!

    Power window module

Hello, anyone ever take apart the power window module? The back lights on mine work intermittently, so I'm guessing bad ground? I took the drivers module out, but could only get the bottom half off. Anyone know the trick to getting the top half off, any pics? Thanks!
