    YES I had the same problem with the positive battery terminal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took a chance on one that I found on Amazon that looked like it would work and it did. It is outrageous that Ford does that, especially for items that are wear items (like a switch or battery terminal).

    Mode select actuator, no AC?

    If there is no possibility of this being the problem are there any other ideas? I do hear the compressor clicking on and with this mode actuator clicking it seemed like a good bet that this may be the issue?? Is there a way to reset this door to try to recalibrate it?

    I am pretty sure it was that purge valve. It was right up against the firewall, basically right between the drivers and passenger side, and was a lot of fun to replace. :)

    Thanks. I hope you do. I feel like it may be the capless assembly too at this point, I just am not sure I want to get into replacing that. #1 I suspect it will be an expensive part and #2 I suspect it will be a bit complicated considering we are talking about a glorified filler hose.
