    Tranny temps

    I've got a 2017 limited with tow package. I drive in the mountains regularly. When not towing anything I usually see a range between 198º and 205º. I don't tow anything large but when moving a utility trailer full of firewood I've seen up to 230º going up 6 to 8% grade.

    I'd suggest Hysol 9462 or something similar. Excellent adhesive for moderate load bearing applications like this. And this kind of epoxy is thixotropic which means it doesn't run which is a good thing when applied to vertical surfaces. I get it at McMaster Carr but it's available from other...

    Since the slide function works it might be the vent switch. Might be worth working the switch a little in case it's just a bad contact.
