Got the Wife a new Ride

Very nice. Can not wait to hear some feedback on the eco versus the 5.4. Expy is beautiful.

Picked up a 2012 EL Limited

All sounds good and congrats. I considered not getting a truck because we have an Expy and I could do most stuff with a utility trailer. I would probably skip the cold air intake also. I think it made a difference on my older 5.4 - but they have changed the intake quite a bit on the newer...

2nd Gen Captain's Chairs... were they an option?

Thank you.I posted it one of the other forums also - that may be where I saw it. If I get an answer, I will post it back up here. I did quite a few searches and remember that it was buried in one of the threads - but no idea which one or which forum.

2nd Gen Captain's Chairs... were they an option?

I removed the center seat in wife's Expy a week ago. I thought I remembered someone saying that they make a carpet that can go there to cover it up. I was unable to find it in the threads. Any help would be appreciated, I just put the bolts back in there for now, but she wants to keep it out

    275/70R18 BF Goodrich w/o a lift!

Nice Edmund - any rubbing that you have noticed like when pulling in parking spots or anything. They look great.

    Reverse light replacement

JimmyM - do they washout the camera at all. Both my f150 and wifes Expy need reverse bulbs. I have tried a few in each and been disappointed. Our windows are tinted (live in FL) and it makes it difficult to see the through the side mirrors with windows up. Tis is the first I have seen 50W...

Garage door opener not programming on 2014

Make sure you do not skip the step of holding one of the factory controllers up to the opener on your truck first. For some reason they have to learn the remote first and then you use the learn button on the opener itself. I had to do this on my parents 14 explorer and kept skipping this...

New 275/70-18 tires for my 07 Limited

Looks really nice. Any noticeable differences in performance, ride, mileage? What made you go with the Coopers (our Expy has the crap scorpions, and my F150 could use a little larger). Considering Coopers or Duratracs. I have always put LTX MS/2's on the family ride, but want something more...

Thinking about a 2012 limited (not EL)

no heavy tow on this one - looks like it is Canadian ( I may be reading it wrong, but you can check the link) here is the link for the window sticker http://fordlabels.webview.biz/webviewhybrid/windowsticker.aspx?vin=1fmju1g56bef11214 sorry for the delay - it did not email me there was an...

Thinking about a 2012 limited (not EL)

if you post the VIN up, one of us can check. My 2011 is 2wd, reg, 3.31 gears and has the heavy duty tow. There is supposedly a place on the hitch where you can look also, but the door sticker gives no indication (I just checked mine) and then re-ran the VIN to make sure. Because your list has...

    sun visor garage door opener

agreed with everyone above - this was challenging. Keep in mind that when programming the vehicles to have the standard remotes that came with the door and check them also. I had 3 vehicles programmed and then realized the factory ones then had to be re-paired also.

    2011 xlt sub harness

Twinjugs - I completely forgot about this because it became my wife's DD. But I just went out and pulled the top panel and realized she does have the factory sub back there. I guess it really just made that big of a difference when I have changed the HU out in the old one (the 06) and was able...
